Being at my core, a Wargamer, I tend to build and paint models for all of my Roleplaying games. Whether it's CyberPunk, Rifts, Mutant Chronicles, or most usually, Dungeons and Dragons. Naturally, I have built, converted and painted dozens of models for my characters as well as for others in my various gaming groups. Beloved characters have come and gone, with literally hundreds of lesser cared for characters sacrificed to the dice gods... or the waste-bin.
Within the last year, gaming of all types has become a limited and precious resource, though I have found myself with a dearth of spare painting time and as such I've been working on various projects...
Or rather I should say, I've been flittering about between projects like a meth-addicted hobby butterfly.
AAAAANYways, one of these projects is something I've been thinking about for quite some time. The concept of "The Perfect D&D Party".

Real Life

No I'm not dead (Close... but not dead...), which is the main reason for the dearth of solid articles on my behalf. Life, as it has been well documented, can get in the way. As such, I've not had any time to write anything worthwhile for all you lovely people out there and have let the 2 new guys (Richard and Maqy) pick up my slack. While I agree this isn't cool, alas it is what it is, and thus I've not got a lot of time to commit to the blog at the moment.
Things might be like this for a little while, though hopefully they'll get sorted and I can get back to doing what I so greatly enjoy soon (blathering on at length about gaming, roleplaying, models and painting). Posting will continue as it has been for the last couple weeks (short snippets that I type out when I can), so don't worry the usual stuff will still be up along with Richards most excellent articles about army lists, and Maqma has a few articles still up his sleeve, so all is not lost.

Those who know me know I have an unhealthy love of a few strange things. Zombies, Old school GW miniatures (pre-2000) and AD&D 2nd edition. I am always on a quest to attain certain things pertaining to those items. Hence today is a victory.

Ariadna Complete.... Till I buy more

Saturday Potpourri

So I have finally finished my Ariadna force for Infinity. Next step is to paint my Pan-O forces... right up until I buy more Ariadna (Bean wants him some of those sweet sweet Tank-hunters, Irmandinos, Dozers and MOAR MODELS!).

Kirk is dubious about my merits....

So I know I've talked about being a painter, and how to run demo games and about wargaming in general, But I'm relatively sure that I havn't spoken at all about what games I actually (currently) play.
